A 38-year-old man killed his wife, four kids, and himself…..why? only GOD knows. This unfortunate event happened in Sharjah, as Gulf News reported.(http://www.gulfnews.com/Articles/RegionNF.asp?ArticleID=183537)
Whatever the reason may be, I can’t figure it out that why people do this and a million dollar question is how one can kill someone? Can we justify these kind of unfortunate events? I think No. Whatever the reason may be, how frustrated u r, what type of situation u r in these acts are nothing but brutal.

I always feel sorry to those who are outside Pakistan studying or working in general and without the family in particular. Ultimately they are the only ones who are in loss, loss of love, loss of affection, loss of friends, loss of touch, loss of feelings, loss of worries, loss of happiness, loss of go-gappas, loss of lassi, loss of nihari, and u just name. Once I said in my poem ‘Diyar-e-Gher’ i.e.:
Apnee saree yadon ko bas dil may qed kar rakha hay
Warna mera us ghar may ab – baqi kia rakha hay………..
Mera wajood ab us ghar may bas aik dibbay may rakha hay
Aur who dibba to baras hoain hain do-chattee may rahay hay
I think you all agree with the above …isn’t it? You feel disconnected even in this modern age …isn’t it strange?. Whenever u go on vacations spending quality time with your family, u treated like a guest….all ur relatives & friends come to c u and start talking in broken language considering like u forget ur own language, culture, customs, etc. Your friend requested u to do smthg for them so that they can also go out from Pakistan and if u start convincing them not to go outside until if it is really required than the common answer is “ yaar agar kuch nahee kar saktay ho to bahanay kiyon kar rahay ho”, and u have left with no answer.

Alhamdulillah, by the Grace of GOD, prayers of my parents, bros. & sis, and the wishes of my friends, I passed my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam. PMP Certification is organized by project management institute (www.pmi.org) and ranks no. 10 among all certification in the world. This is the only non-IT certification in the list.
I hope this certification, along with my education and experience, will boost my professional career.

I have been so lucky that I traveled few countries and got the chance to know the people of different cultures, languages, and customs. I have few experiences at different Airports which I will post in the following days.
Qist No. 1 – Negotiations Skills
Quid-e-Azam International Airport – Karachi:
I was at the custom counter where the officers negotiate with another passenger and u know what I mean right? The dialogues between them as follows:
Passenger: No, I cant pay Rs. 2000 as I don’t have it
Officer: I am sorry, I cant help u out as I promise myself that I will not accept anything below 2000.
Passenger: Sir, believe me, I really don’t have 2000 Rs. I have only 1500.
Officer: Aray Yaar, I said u its against my principal.
==== the negotiations continues, and at last there was another officer join the negotiation and his role was a mediator, now can u imagine how he mediated ======== U cant …right?
Mediator: Aray meray bhai, if he (officer) cant accept 1500 than pay 2000
Passenger: Repeats the same above said
Mediator: aik to yaar tum log tang bohat kartay ho and he takes the 500 Rs from his wallet and handed over to the customer and said include ur 1500 so that it will be 2000 and give it to the Officer…..
Passenger: (did wat he was asked to do)
And they all live happily ever after …… this is wat negotiation all about. Everything was so quick and easy that hardly takes 5 minutes and the customer was thru.
Qist No. 2 – Communication Skills
Dhaka International Airport – Dhaka
I went to Dhaka to set up the office of my employer. While coming back to Karachi, I was at the lounge of Dhaka Airport then a guy came to me and ask me ‘smthg’ in Bangla. I replied that I don’t know Bangla. He kept quite for a minute and turned to me and said “Yoooouuuu made in Pakistan” and I replied ‘Yes’. This is wat communication is all about. Just to pass the message thru verbal communication and if not than use non-verbal communication.

I spent 5 days in Karachi and it was too hectic. In five days I have seen almost all colors of Karachi i.e raining and its after effects, dust along with smoke from vehicles, traffic jams with horn all around you, behavior of the people – everyone was in a hurry and take his car or m/bike or any other vehicle first without considering the rights of others, Paan key peek from the passenger in the bus on to the roof of the car or on the Shalwar of the motorcyclist, breaking the red light signal and feeling proud like it was great and biggest achievement, Police in the dark —- verrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy far from the light and traffic jams and waiting & looking for youngsters so that they can earn something from them for their young ones , proven capabilities of doing nothing at the time of crisis by KESC, thakay huay log, bujhay huay school k bachchay, traffic signals may professional bheek managay waloon ka hat dharmee, masoom bachchay jo under training hain and about to become the professional bagger, rangers k mushtanday, Eidhi k sard khany may rakhee hoee lasahin aur un ko lay janay woalon key qatarain, phulee sansain aur tutee umeedain aur tutee hoee sarkian, broken hearts and broken dreams, fear of everything and from everyone, lal qila may khanay walon ka long que spending tons of money inside the hotel but deny to give even a single penny to those who were standing outside and bagging for some food, showing that they are not deaf but ignoring them, stress, strain, etc, etc.
I feel pain when I c the hypocrisy in the behavior of our society but apart from all of the above I still luv Karachi.
Going to Pakistan is always at the top on my priority list. Whenever I get the chance, even if it is for couple of days, I go to Karachi. I am going on this Thursday only for 72 hours though but still ‘something is better than nothing’. I always feel happy when I plan to go to Karachi but as soon as the date of departure comes closer I started feeling sad, not because I m going to Karachi (lol) but started feeling the time of coming back, a very difficult time when u leave all ur loved ones at the Airport waiving their hands saying ‘Allah Hafiz’. U feel terrible. I don’t know how many of you have experienced this but believe u me its very hard. But, at this point of time I m Happy.
If you c smiling faces, relaxed working environment, easy going, no faking, and of course no ‘Phaking’, u can easily guess that your BOSS is on leave. We are enjoying such conditions these days. It doesn’t mean that v r not working, in fact v r working more when the boss is not around. Don’t u believe?
